Rocker Arm Design

The rocker arm rigidly connects the two wheels on either side of the chassis and connects the assembly to the chassis and central pivot. This design uses roll-wrapped carbon fiber tubing that is structurally bonded to aluminum fittings. A sealed, preloaded taper roller bearing assembly allows the rocker arms to pivot freely. Wheel modules are mounted on the end of each rocker arm. All of the power and control wiring for each wheel module is run through the center of the rocker arm assembly.
