Last night we reached a pretty major milestone on the rover wiring. All the electrical components are installed and wiring is complete except for the EPOS motor controllers. We did a power up test with the system running off of lab bench supplies and everything performed as expected. All expected voltages were verified using a multimeter. The computer booted up first try and all of the USB and ethernet devices were recognized. So far we have a 100% pass rating on the electrical systems and no damaged components! The battery and BMS is installed but we are holding off a few days to install the EPOS controllers before doing a full “standalone” system test. We are hoping within a week or two the rover will be onthe ground and driving.
